I think it's about time to address the rename template that has probably been here for quite a while. From what I've seen, most instances refer to him as just "Rambi", including in the credits in the original Donkey Kong Country (along with all the other animal friends). This will also be consistent with how we name other articles with this type of title.

#{{User|Keyblade Master}} Per proposal. This will also apply to other animals with this type of title.

#{{User|Scrooge200}} This is something that has been bothering me for a while. A traditional proposal might be more fitting, but I'd support that too.

Shouldn't this be a mainstream proposal covering every single animal friend in the ''Donkey Kong'' franchise? [[Squawks the Parrot|Squawks]] is especially the other one that comes to mind. {{User:Archivist Toadette/sig}} 21:57, March 21, 2021 (EDT)

:I agree. [[Hogwash the Flying Pig]], an enemy, should also fall under that proposal's coverage. {{User:Koopa con Carne/Sig}} 23:06, March 21, 2021 (EDT)

::This should definitely be a much broader proposal. --{{User:Waluigi Time/sig}} 11:23, March 22, 2021 (EDT)
:::Is it too late to move this proposal to the main proposal page? {{User:Keyblade Master/sig}} 12:05, March 22, 2021 (EDT)
::::You'd have to cancel this one first. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 12:10, March 22, 2021 (EDT)
If we can't find a source for the "the Rhino" part, I'd agree, but we otherwise use full titles if the character has them. Unless you have something ridiculous like [[The Old Psychic Lady with the Evil Eye Who Reads Fortunes and Knows Everything Before it Happens]]. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 01:32, March 22, 2021 (EDT)
:We don't use the full titles for the bosses from Tropical Freeze though. {{User:Keyblade Master/sig}} 07:22, March 22, 2021 (EDT)
:The instruction manual for the Wii version of Donkey Kong Country calls it both Rambi and Rambi the rhinoceros. The first is in a section title. The second is in the section itself. {{User:Yoshi the SSM/sig}} 09:38, March 22, 2021 (EDT)
