Uh maybe theres a a R.O.B challenge were you have to defeat like one hundred R.O.B's and then you fight one more and you unlock them. And another thing  alot of stuff in the SSB series may seem impossible like multiple characters of the same guy but different colors...who cares! Thats what games are made like!
