Alright, since Mario & Luigi undid my change of the quote at the top of the page and said that a discussion was needed, I decided to add said discussion.

Personally, I don't understand why Mr. L's quote is up there. It doesn't really describe the Pure Hearts that well and mainly focuses on their apparent weakness (when they're not really weak at all). There's plenty of other quotes in the game that describe the Pure Hearts, and I chose one of the most obvious one, which I think is definitely more fitting than what we have now. Thoughts? == Triangle Love ==

I definitely think each Pure Heart represents a different type of love, and it would be worth going over that in the article, but the current "source(s) of love" in the chart seem wrong. I.e. there's too much overlap with maternal, paternal and familial, and hope has nothing to do with love. However, the [[wikipedia:Triangular theory of love|Triangular theory of love]] (based on whether different types of love have intimacy, passion, commitment or combinations of the three) seems to fit really well:

*'''Infatuation''' - passion only - '''Orange''': Merlumina is all about passion, but it's fleeting and shallow

::It may be based in philosophy but I feel that it's still stretching to even try and connect each individual heart to a "source of love" to begin with, as none of it seems to be based on any actual in-game evidence other than trying to connect the characters and circumstances to them. If they do, they do, but as far as I can find the Pure Hearts as a whole just seem to embody the power of love in general.
