I agree with NY. I think this page should be protected so only autoconfirmed users can edit it due to it's likeliness to be spammed. <span style="font-family:verdana; color:#red;"><font size="5">Yoshario</font></span>

:I think it means all new users can't edit the article (their account has to be a few days old first). I'll protect it now. Also, pertaining to your first question, "shit" is used in Conker's Bad Fur Day, but I'm not sure if that's significant enough to warrant a redirect. Even so, not making it yourself is a smart move, as it might seem sorta shifty. - 18:32, 26 March 2009 (EDT)

I wouldn't use that expletive around the wiki due to the fact that I expect we may very young users browsing this wiki and since a proposal passed that banned swearing. <span style="font-family:verdana; color:#red;"><font size="5">Yoshario</font></span>

"The Giant Poo Monster" (As it's called) in Bad Fur Day is made of "****" but since it's also called "poo", poo should maybe be a redirect.

I say we delete this article because it is not a specific topic, item, ect. If unneeded objects are getting articles then we should have an article on air since that actually plays a role in some games, sort of works like an item, it allows Mario to be underwater without drowning of lack of air since it replenishes his air intake.

I think this article is pointless, and it is a big target for vandals. Even with Semi-Protection, we can just merge the content with the WarioWare article and a user who is autoconfirmed can still vandalize it if they "secretly" act like a good user until autoconfirmation. It just doesn't seem like an appropriate page for a wiki like this.

#Magikrazy This proposal again? Oy vey.
#Mario7 It is what is is. Just because the name of this article isn't great, we shouldn't delete it. According to this logic, if there was a new character called "Pee," there should not be an article created for the character. This is a wiki (with the goal being to provide information), and we are not going to take away an article because of its name. Per all.

#Young Master Luma Per old proposal, mostly. One possible solution would be a rewrite where insignificant appearances take up less space than slightly more important ones - see my comment.

The article says that it appears in Super Mario-Kun, how much of a role does it play in that? Yoshi876

:I'd assume that it just shows up for sight gags and funny background events. Nothing really major.
::Yeah, it does. 13:58, 4 March 2014 (EST)
General consensus seems to be that the generic things (poop making insignificant appearances game mechanically or story-wise) take the back seat compared to Arty Wario's usage of it. One possible solution would be re-writing the article to focus more on just that, wouldn't it? The other appearances could be formatted as notes, or as smaller entries in a dedicated "appearances" section. 23:59, 4 March 2014 (EST)
:The problem is that, my strongest reason for removing it, is that Arty Wario's article already covers it in a better fashion than this article so it would be redundant. 00:17, 5 March 2014 (EST)
::Then perhaps that is a problem. This article should, of course, cover the details of exactly what poop does / is better than the article for Arty Wario. Then again, if that information would never exceed stub length, it might fit better in the Arty Wario article in the first place... 00:15, 4 March 2014 (EST)
:::Well, Arty Wario's article nearly perfectly explains what the Poop projectile does, as other projectiles he creates (which do not get their own articles for some reason). By the way, that's not a definition of a stub: a stub is an article that lacks sufficient information. Most stub articles are stubs, yes, but not all short articles such as some Paper Mario items are stubs. 00:30, 5 March 2014 (EST)
::::Of course - I should have mentioned that it might've been an article so insignificant that it might've been better merged with Arty Wario instead of mentioning "stub length". Right now it seems to parlty be a case of the Arty Wario information keeping everything else in the article, and everything else keeping the Arty Wario information in the article. 13:55, 5 March 2014 (EST)
I think we should delete this article for the same reason we don't have a page for "bone", for example: it is the projectile of Dry Bones, Dull Bones, it is in the Snack Orb, it has appeared in many minigames (Chomp Walker, Throw Me a Bone), microgames, it appears as platforms in Super Mario World, it is what many enemies are made of, it is an area in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, etc. Having all this almost completely unrelated information in one page would make it cluttered just like this page is. <span style="font-family:Verdana; font-size:18px; color:#302b7a;">MegaKoopa</span> <span style="font-family:Verdana; font-size:10px; color:#496dd1;">Talk</span> 21:03, 5 March 2014 (EST)
:@MegaKoopa I wouldn't even say it's almost unrelated, it's all related in some way. The info all centers around the same character and his own series: Wario. The info is talking about its role in the micro games and it's use when Artsy Wario creates it. I mean we've got articles about items that explains the different uses it has (Green Shell, Mushroom etc), this is no different. Seems legit enough to me.
::Whereas Green Shells and Mushrooms are Mario objects that have appeared in numerous games with a similar function, poop is just a generic item that has appeared in some microgames and happens to be one of Arty Wario's many projectiles. The biggest distinction between poop and Mushrooms and Green Shells is that the Mushroom and Green Shell are a Mario object while poop definitely isn't a Mario nor a Wario object. There isn't a huge variety of poop either, nor does any poop have a proper name (such as Flying Fire Poop). It's like Pizza getting its own article because of its appearances and its role (it's one of the many healing food items in Super Smash Bros.) and it appeared in a lot of minigames). 21:19, 5 March 2014 (EST)
