The English name comes from a licensed guide and was probably a presumption based on the design of their torsos, which only tenuously resembles a bipedal bear. The Japanese name, also from a licensed guide, is instead derived from their snowman heads. I personally can't confidently declare this enemy a "bear" or a "snowman", but I'm very inclined to describe it as a hybrid--not quite one thing or the other--so if there's ever a need to cover generic polar bears in the franchise, I'd rather this page be moved to "Polar Bear (Wario World)" and the title without the identifier be reserved for the generic ones. {{User:Koopa con Carne/Sig}} 08:24, September 28, 2024 (EDT) | ||
