Maybe we could merge this to Fourth wall...

...In some games, mostly the RPG games, many characters break the fourth wall and talk to the player ("you in front of the TV")...

Fourth wall
The article Fourth wall lists all the fourth wall breakings in the Mario games. This article tries to do so, but it's a mess and it's missing a lot of information. I suggest that we remove all the fourth-wall-content from this article and we focus on the Mario universe players. 16:23, 5 April 2013 (EDT)
:Actually I think we should get rid of this article. It's mostly fourth wall reference, and that's "bad" (Mario Wiki:Once and Only Once). The other informations are:
*characters that play video games
*synonym for extra life
That's why we should:
*split the information into the corresponding system
*make this page a redirect to Extra life (and split the information in the article)

:Stuff like this should be put into the glossary, not here in the first place, in my opinion.<br> 22:30, 7 June 2013 (EDT)

They are also known as gamers. And I should know. (Clue in the name.) RPG Gamer. I HAVE RPG!! (talk)
Needed?
Is this really needed? Surely everyone should know what 'the player' is. I'd create a TPP to delete it, but a lot of pages link here, so I'm unsure of whether it should be deleted> Yoshi876
Delete this page
Settled TPP
passed
Look at the comments above. This page is not needed, and often, it serves as a filler link so tiny pages won't get orphaned, I guess. Anyway, the biggest problem is deleting those red links we'll make, but I don't think it's enough to keep this page. For those who want to know the definition of "player", we have the glossary for that, so if you really want that, then put it there. Not to mention, most of this page is redundant to Fourth wall, which is a better organized article.

Delete
#LeftyGreenMario If you don't know what "player" is, you're probably unfamiliar with games in general. Which means you're unfamiliar with Mario. Either way, this page isn't needed. The only reason this page has a lot of link-tos is that people like turning font into blue, I guess. Il faut que cet article soit supprimer.
#Ace Shadow - Fully support this. Per proposal.
#Yoshi876 Per all, and I'm more than happy to go through and delete the all the links to this page.
#Baby Luigi Per the stupid French woman who is my twin sister
#Glowsquid - It's an useless and embarasing page that exist mostly for cheap bluelinks.  <small>should be "soit supprimer", btw.</small>
#SuperYoshiBros Pretty much pointless. Per LGM.
#Gonzales Kart Inc. I never really got  the point of this page, so let's get rid of it.
#MarioKartManiac I've never gotten why this page is here in the first place. I'm pretty sure lots of people know what a "player" is.
#Banon — Per my messy subsection above. However, I still think we should keep it as a redirect to Extra life<s>, and split the informations about characters playing systems in the systems' articles.</s> Also, maybe a section in the Glossary. <small>and it's actually "supprimé"</small>
#Megadardery - "Player" in the gaming world always refer to "Extra Life". BJAODN is a place for it.
#Mariotime11 Serves no purpose, like Unlockable (which was deleted per a TPP) and it's obvious what "player" means; per all.
Keep it
Comments
This should go in BJAODN. Ace Shadow
:Yeah, I know. I wonder what the comment should be JUST in case people are confused why this is in BJAODN. <br> 20:20, 8 July 2013 (EDT)
::Trouble is: it has 1446 link.Megadardery
:::I'm fine going through and deleting them all. Yoshi876
::::Wait wait wait. Maybe Steve could use a bot to do that. Easier faster.Megadardery
:::::It's very possible, but I'm here should worst come to the worst. Yoshi876
::::::He is online now, I will wait for his opinion.Megadardery
:::::::"Yep", that what he said.Megadardery
Don't delete it
Davey
:Why? - Banon
