This enemy is only ever encountered in battle with the boss [[Lava Piranha]], and in fact is spawned by the [[Lava Bud]]s that branch off from the Lava Piranha. Because of this, this enemy would be far more comprehensive if merged into its parent article.

On careful consideration, I rescind my vote. While Petit Piranhas are spewed from [[Lava Bud]]s, that does not make them the same individual. This is much the same as sperm, which most certainly is not a part of an animal, even when inside.
