As if the Galoomba confusion wasn't enough, the "Winged Galoombas" in Mario Clash are not only referred to as "Para-Goombas" in the manual, but are given another name in the Japanese version, "Sharp Winged Galoomba". Since the growth of spikes on their head would also be an indication that they're really another sub-species of Galoomba, that should be reflected with a split. On the other hand, if they're instead deemed one and the same, then naming policy dictates both articles would be called "Para-Goomba" (since manuals trump most other potential sources).

Despite this being the only page on the wiki with the name "Flying Goomba", we still give it an identifier as the familiar Paragoombas are known as "Flying Goombas" in Yoshi's Safari and Hotel Mario. While naming rules dictate the more popular subject goes without an identifier, it never states if this rule applies to the more popular subject having an infrequently-used alternate name shared with a less popular subject that is still more prominent than that name.

#Archivist Toadette Sure. They also appear as standalone hazardous enemies in the Mario Party 3 minigame Ridiculous Relay, so I don't see why it shouldn't have received that custom identifier after Super Mario 3D World came out.

#OhoJeeOnFire I still wonder where they were called Flying Goombas if they are technically para-goombas. But still, per all.

#RHG1951 Per proposal.
#LinkTheLefty For the record, I'm not sure why "Stretch (Shy Guy)" isn't "Stretch (Shy-Guy)" when they've only appeared in that one game, but the rest of the logic is sound, and regardless, Galoombas and "Flying Goombas" both appear in the Super Mario Maker games.
#WildWario Per all.
