:The History section isn't suggesting that Sony or X-Box support Wi-Fi connections, but that they supported online gaming in general. Redstar 02:11, 24 December 2009 (EST)

Does that mean that it does? How? (Wikipedia says that the Xbox has what the 360 has, so I'll belive that.) Also, I'm talking about the Slimline version.

Anyone can Edit Wikipedia,so don't belive it so much...and if true I don't think that a "Xbox Wi´Fi Connection" Exists xD-- 09:09, 25 December 2009 (EST)

I Ment X-Box Live (If that counts...) Both the X-box's would have that. I'm talking about online mutiplayer games, such as Mario Kart Wii. (Give or take that as a example.) If thay had online gaming, how do thay conncet in the first place?

My PS2 is 4 years old too, and I found out that you need a special PS2 plug or something to work Wi-Fi on it. (Just search something like PS2 Internet Connection or something to find out more, because I don't know any more than what I just said.)

Regarding the WFC shutdown
Should the article include the information about Glu Mobile planning GameSpy shutdown in a close time period to WFC shutdown? Given how it already mentions GameSpy, it could be a good idea. 89.68.253.160 21:14, 25 May 2014 (EDT)
:Well is this related to Nintendo Wi-Fi? Because it sounds like it's more related to GameSpy than it is to Nintendi WiFi services. 21:30, 25 May 2014 (EDT)

Japan-only games
In the "Games that supported Nintendo WFC" section, the Japan-only games both say in parentheses "(Japan only, until 2013)".  What does "until 2013" mean? -YoshiFlutterJump (talk) 11:18, 20 April 2017 (EDT)
:iirc, Japan's Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection was the first to shut down, or at least one of the first. The dates of the discontinuations are different in each country, and Japan's was in 2013. 11:57, 20 April 2017 (EDT)

Even though it is unofficial, should we mention at least by some sort of way? --Mkwii is better than Mk8DLX (talk) 14:29, September 28, 2020 (EDT)
:I think it opens up a can of worms if we dwelve into unofficial content, and we generally don't allow discussion unless it has been officially acknowledged by Nintendo. Besides, this article talks about the online service and bringing it up would be off-topic for this article. 14:40, September 28, 2020 (EDT)

A WiiConnect24 Page?
talk
Should I do a page on WiiConnect24? I would need help citing articles. 19:23, June 29, 2023 (EDT)

We realize at this point, the original poster has gone inactive, so it's not much use to ask them admittedly. However, out of curiosity; what are the differences between WiiConnect24 and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, anyways? We always assumed they were kind of a package deal. 16:40, January 23, 2025 (EST)
