Wario fitted in fine in Super Mario 64 DS with only minor gameplay differences and Waluigi is thin and would weigh about the same as Mario & Luigi anyway. Besides, Mario and Luigi have always played slightly differently. Why the laziness now? Also, as a side note, Toads have a much greater body shape difference to Mario& Luigi than Wario & Waluigi do. I got a feeling that Nintendo replaced the Red Yoshi by a pink one (I don't like that!). Most likely they recolored the original artwork. The original one has a Red Yoshi jumping, but in the box-art, it seems like they edited the original one's feet to look like it's on the ground and recolored it. This is very good information. Good finding Kaialone and Super Caterina. Here are some things I noted.
*Pow-Blocks return.
*Like Super Mario Bros. 2 USA, Mario and Co. can grab things and throw them.
*Propeller Suit got a different look. Originally, it was just a P with a propeller, but now it's a mushroom with a propeller. I think they will call it a Propeller Mushroom.
*Artwork of the Koopalings including Bowser Jr. and Mario and Co.
*The Koopalings kidnap Princess Peach by hiding themselves in a cake.
*The Ice Flower is shown on this scans. No Penguin Suit is mentioned. Maybe they deleted the suit in flavor of the flower, but I don't think so.
*Larry is battled in a different location than in the e3 demo.
*Some Koopalings look a little different than in Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World.
*Airships appear and a Koopa Clown Car Jr.?
*Just like Super Mario Galaxy, spins can activate some switches.

EDIT: The game does support the Nunchuck. The Official Nintendo Magazine said the made a error in their report. Use the control stick to walk, A to jump and B to sprint.

One of them says that there is 20 bosses and there is two bosses for each world, World 1-7 are the Koopalings fought twice and World 8 is most likeley Bowser Jr. and Bowser. That makes 16 and there is 4 left. If it isnt on these, I red it on something else that i cant remember. {{User|Crackin355}}

How does having four more bosses prove that Daisy, Wario, and Toadette are in this game? Also, in the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 2 there are hidden worlds to get if you don't use warp pipes and I believe earlier that Shigeru Miyamoto said that there is something special for people who don't use the super guide mode in NSMBWii. That special thing could be two extra worlds- which can have four more bosses. {{User:Fawfulfury65/sig}}

==boss battles==
it has been hinted that the final boss battle will be a spoof of another battle in the series but which one?
It might happen to be like the bowser super mario world battle in the clown cart but with bowser jr. Well I hope it's not the new super mario bros ds one with all the koopalings, bowser& bowser jr 
Also after looking at this page i can clearly tell that it has been hinted 4 more boss battles. This may be because he success of the idea of nonkoopa related boss battles in nsmb ds.
I was thinking that it could be (from most likely to least) petey pirana, king boo, goomboss, wario, bambam, waluigi, and mechabowser. also people are saying that this means two new worlds, well maybe the battles just secret like world 4&7 or unlocked like cannons and warp pipes. Also maybe there is a possibility that they're not secret like ghost house bosses. it has been said that a reward will be given out to those who don't use the super guide. maybe thats what it is. maybe they're in this so called world nine thats been rumored so often or maybe even some of these rumors combined. please write comments with any theories. {{unsigned|Ninja32}}

The Official Nintendo Magazine confirmed King Boo and Petey Piranha won't be bosses. 
I think you can travel to world 9 by collecting Star Coins or by not using Super Guide. {{User:Arend/Sig}}

With the statement that there are four hidden bosses in this game, that really makes you question who they are. ==The Difference between the Ice Flower and The Penguin Suit==

I have see some videos of New Super Mario Bros Wii and I see when Penguin Mario Shot an Ice Ball with penguin suit and if the enemy can fly, it stop a moment in the air also the ability to slip on the ground, and when Ice Mario shot an Ice Ball the enemy fall instantly to the ground.

I know some more: Penguin Mario throws ice balls that seem to be weaker than Ice Mario's: after a time, freeze will break, when there are weak enemies frozen, they turn into coins (like Fire Mario's fireballs) but enemies as piranha plants won't turn into coins: the Piranha plant stays itself, without minding being frozen at all. Also, with the Penguin Suit, you can swim a lot better and faster, like the Frog Suit from SMB3. {{User:Vini64/sig}}
