| Wario fitted in fine in Super Mario 64 DS with only minor gameplay differences and Waluigi is thin and would weigh about the same as Mario & Luigi anyway. Besides, Mario and Luigi have always played slightly differently. Why the laziness now? Also, as a side note, Toads have a much greater body shape difference to Mario& Luigi than Wario & Waluigi do. | Most likely they recolored the original artwork. The original one has a Red Yoshi jumping, but in the box-art, it seems like they edited the original one's feet to look like it's on the ground and recolored it. It doesn't mean they replaced it, though. | No I think it should stay the same because we aren't exactly sure. If the red frame is seen in other wesites such as Walmart.com or Gamestop.com then we should put it on.
| |
| :Why? That's an awful reason. It's going to be sold in stores with red frames, the official site has red frames for its box art, Amazon has it, Game Trailers has it, etc. Walmart still has the old version of the box art. When the box art was released, no one knew it would have red frames until the picture above was released. --MechaWave 18:28, 21 October 2009 (EDT)

| How does having four more bosses prove that Daisy, Wario, and Toadette are in this game? Also, in the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 2 there are hidden worlds to get if you don't use warp pipes and I believe earlier that Shigeru Miyamoto said that there is something special for people who don't use the super guide mode in NSMBWii. | People! Sorry to burst your bubbles, but I think you've got it wrong. There are 20 boss battles, but no extra or unlockable bosses. Each Koopaling fought twice in a world for Worlds 1-7, so 14 boss battles. Bowser Jr. fought three times in the airship(Worlds 4,6&8) making 17 boss battles. Then Kamek in W8-Castle, boss 18. And in Bowser's Castle, Bowser and the new, even bigger Giant Bowser(bigger than in M&L:BiS). 20 bosses, all in Worlds 1-8. World 9 has no bosses, just eight tough-as-nails levels, for Giant Bowser is last boss of the game.

| |
| It might happen to be like the bowser super mario world battle in the clown cart but with bowser jr. Well I hope it's not the new super mario bros ds one with all the koopalings, bowser& bowser jr
| |
| Also after looking at this page i can clearly tell that it has been hinted 4 more boss battles. This may be because he success of the idea of nonkoopa related boss battles in nsmb ds.
| |
| I was thinking that it could be (from most likely to least) petey pirana, king boo, goomboss, wario, bambam, waluigi, and mechabowser. also people are saying that this means two new worlds, well maybe the battles just secret like world 4&7 or unlocked like cannons and warp pipes. Also maybe there is a possibility that they're not secret like ghost house bosses. it has been said that a reward will be given out to those who don't use the super guide. maybe thats what it is. maybe they're in this so called world nine thats been rumored so often or maybe even some of these rumors combined. please write comments with any theories. Ninja32

| |
|
| |
| I have see some videos of New Super Mario Bros Wii and I see when Penguin Mario Shot an Ice Ball with penguin suit and if the enemy can fly, it stop a moment in the air also the ability to slip on the ground, and when Ice Mario shot an Ice Ball the enemy fall instantly to the ground.
| |
| Example: Penguin Suit: The paratroopa that was frozen in the first video
| |
| Ice Flower: The Frozen Pokeys in the super skill video<br>
| |
| Kingbooregard
| |
|
| |
| I know some more: Penguin Mario throws ice balls that seem to be weaker than Ice Mario's: after a time, freeze will break, when there are weak enemies frozen, they turn into coins (like Fire Mario's fireballs) but enemies as piranha plants won't turn into coins: the Piranha plant stays itself, without minding being frozen at all. My bro has discovered this.

It has to be Propeller Form not Propeller Mario. this applies to all the forms, as this is discrimination to Luigi, And Yellow and Blue Toad. This game is playable to 4 characters, is it not? Then it should be Forms and not Mario. Hey, it's called Forms not Mario's Transformations. This is getting very stressful. | Does it really matter how many times it's happened? It's always the same thing for every game. From SMB to SMG2, it's been a re-occuring problem, they always say, "Fire Mario" instead of "Fire Form", because wether or not people accept it, Mario isn't the only character around, Luigi is always mostly a playable character, and people deny it and say "Fire Mario". |
| |
| it is the seventh 2d mario game ,you left out super mario world 2 yoshi's island which is both a mario series and yoshi series game.mario still has a huge roll in smw 2,and in america it was intended as a follow up to mario world hence the 2 at the end.if you don't change it i will get into this wiki page and change it and i can access hundreds of computers so i will keep editing it no matter what Josie1233

| == Enemy Table==
| |
| I think we must have an enemy table like it was for the New Super Mario Bros. article instead of the lists based on what land setting the enemies appear because the table says the enemies name, description, and which world and level they first appear which gives a lot more information than just the name. Yoshidino
| |
|
| |
| :Yeah, like the enemy table here to. How about you get to work, my friend!
| |
|
| |
| :: Actually it is fine how it is. All the enemies are all categorized and that took a long time to get each one in the right place. I just would leave it how it is.
| |
|
| |
| Well, we could also include a land setting column for the table, if that's what you're talking about.--Yoshidino 09:44, 19 April 2012 (EDT)

| I found an easter egg! If you play as Mario, and you get 99 lives, Mario will lose his hat!!

| == What's going on ==
| |
|
| |
| How come at least three of the images in this articles are going strange?. Two have gone all rainbowlike pixelated, and the infobox one has gone half grey, and what I can see looks nothing like the Australian boxart. Is there anyway someone can fix them?

| == 99 lives = Capless Mario? ==
| |
|
| |
| I saw in one playthrough video on YouTube that whenever a player reaches 99 lives, their cap disappears. It doesn't work with Penguin Mario or Propeller Mario. I don't know why that's not on here. WarioAlwaysNumberOne (talk) 15:07, 10 January 2016 (EST)
| |
| :It definitely doesn't work on Penguin or Propeller Mario, since their head model is completely different than the smashed Mario and regular Mario (who uses texture swaps rather than being a different model). I'll note that in the article. 15:09, 10 January 2016 (EST)

| == Enemy Course enemies are bosses? ==
| |
|
| |
| I am wondering why Enemy Course enemies are considered bosses, when they are more of simply sub-missions which you accidentally run into. I would instead suggest adding an a article about Enemy Course enemies and just using the Koopalings and co. as the bosses.

| Just a suggestion,
