How is this a species? One may fight Mouser two times, implying that there could be different Mousers, but Tryclyde is also fought two times, yet he is called a character. There are multiple Mousers in the comics, but the same goes for Fryguy and Clawgrip (who are a "non-game species" because of that). --Grandy02 09:46, 9 June 2009 (EDT)

: I'm confused, too. Plus, in Japan, he's Don Churuge (think of it as "Don Mouser"). Why would he give himself a title to precede his name? Plus, Mousers is incorrect since the comics call them "Mice" anyway. LinkTheLefty 23:28, 27 August 2009 (EDT)

:: In my opinion, the individual Mouser from the Super Show and the comics should be merged into this article, handling them and the SMB2 Mouser as a single character, while the Mice get a separate one (the current Mouse might be moved to "Mouse (Donkey Kong)"), just like Fryguy (species). --Grandy02 13:50, 8 January 2010 (EST)

: I agree to this.  Plus if it's a species, then why do three/two you fight have the exact same voice, tactics, and name?  If it was a sepcies, they would have a different name for each of them.  It's like saying that Tryclyde is a species sincer there are two of him in the game. --Tailikku1 (talk) 09:39, 20 December 2014 (EST)

So, where does the picture come from? It's not in the manual. In the manual, Mouser is just standing there. Not as exciting, but he sure isn't jumping around. Is it from Advance? It looks somewhat new. I wonder if it's official. LinkTheLefty 12:19, 28 August 2009 (EDT)

What about the Little Mousers guys from New Super Mario Bros. Wii and other places? Are they considered related?
:You'll find the answer in the third sentence of the the Little Mousers article.
Mouser as a species?
Given that the Nintendo Comics System, as well as the Mousersaurus Rex, would it be safe to consider Mouser to be a species on the same realm as Fryguy? I mean, the Mousersaurus Rex is clearly a variant of Mouser. Part of me wants to change the infobox to be a species one, list mouse as a subject origin and include Mousersaurus Rex as a variant. :Considering SMB2 had two separate Mousers with different colors and DDP had three, I don't see the issue with doing that personally. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:28, November 17, 2023 (EST)
