I know how to do the glitch, but how and why does the player glitch through the pipe to the warp zone pipes?  Does one of the pipe tiles have no collision? CBFan5 (talk)

:This might not be the answer you're looking for, but that is the case in Mari0, but I don't know for SMB NES, FDS, or any of the other versions. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA)

The name is properly Sky World, between Z World and Blank World, and the stage has a hýphen spoken like a glottal stop, not a minus, so there's no double minus world either.  The irregular worlds are properly called out-of-bounds, as in Out-of-Bounds Worlds, or illegal if you like. https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Super+Mario+Bros.%22+tiles+0+255&tbm=isch#imgrc=c3Y_igP6hHLKdM Lysdexia (talk) 23:29, June 7, 2021 (EDT)

:The world is called as such because of how it appears, not how it reads. The dash appears like a minus sign, thus "negative one" or "minus one", leading to "Minus World". It's a fan term that Nintendo later made official in several instances, so yes, the official name is Minus World. Your Google search doesn't seem to back up your claims. 02:12, June 8, 2021 (EDT)

::One of the images actually backs up the part of his claim about the world stuff, but not the name stuff. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) 11:18, January 04, 2023 (CST)

:The ROMs in Nintendo Switch Online's emulators are unchanged. So no, all glitches still work. Spectrogram (talk) 10:20, August 21, 2022 (EDT)

World 29(T)
This world is the most popular glitch world in Super Mario Bros., not including the minus world, because there are a few videos by the famous speedrunner Kosmic who went into glitch worlds and a few of them were a lot like this one. In fact, this world was one of them. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) 09:29, February 2, 2023 (CST)
The true number of levels/areas in SMB/TLL (SMB is both NES & FDS versions).
So I saw on this talk page a section called "and, the other worlds?". It led to the conclusion that there are 256^2 levels in SMB, which would lead to the same conclusion for TLL. However, there is something that would mean way more areas. The Glitched Worlds hacks of SMB & TLL. They have, in order, File(TLL only), World, Area, P-Up, Size, & Player(TLL only). Now, P-Up, Size, & Player(TLL only) aren't the topics for this. The topics for this are File(TLL only), World, & Area. "Area" isn't Level, as selecting 00 is 1-1, and 01 is 1-1 bonus. This means that, if you do the math & make the assumption that each level has 256 areas, SMB NES has 256 worlds, each with 256 levels, each with 256 areas, equaling 256 worlds(each with 65536 areas), equaling 16777216 areas! That's not all, though! TLL(and by extension, SMB FDS) has 256 files, each with 256 worlds, each with 256 levels, each with 256 areas, equaling 256 files(each with 256 worlds, each with 65536 areas), equaling 256 files(each with 16777216 areas), equaling 4294967296 areas! SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) 13:21, May 22, 2023 (CST)
:Now I'm thinking. Is it the same for Super Mario Bros. 2 & 3? Let me look into it. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) 12:47, May 24, 2023 (CST)
::Okay, I looked into it. I concluded that SMB2 has the same amount of areas as SMB1 due to having the same system as SMB1. Due to SMB3 having a map, I doubt it's the same as any of the other games. It does have 256 worlds, though. I need to look into that more. I also need to check all the other 2D Mario games. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) 08:16, May 26, 2023 (CST)
:::I looked into it more, and it appears the only ones that fit the SMB1/TLL/2 area calculations are SMB1 (NES & FDS), SMB1's remakes, SMB:TLL, SMB:TLL's remakes, SMB2, SMB2's remakes, SML, & SML's remakes. All the other 2D Mario games have world maps, which muddles up the calculation enough to not include them. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) 12:39, May 26, 2023 (CST)
::::I just remembered a site I was on once about stuff relating to glitch worlds. I need to rethink this. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) 10:06, October 10, 2023 (CST)
