With every other Assist Trophy character page being turned into a redirect, is there a reason this wasn't? 20:42, 25 October 2018 (EDT)

:I assume because of the Mario Maker costume... but considering we don't give individual pages to any of the other costumes, I don't think that's enough to justify this. 20:44, 25 October 2018 (EDT)

::::My stance is don't keep. Her relevance in the Mario series is tied strictly to her arguably cameo amiibo appearance, which is hardly enough for a standalone article. 20:02, 26 October 2018 (EDT)

:::::Since we don’t have articles for characters who have only appeared as costumes, and Midna just has a cameo on Wolf Link's costume, rather than having her own, I feel this article isn’t necessary to keep. -- 20:35, 26 October 2018 (EDT)

::::::Same with Dr. Kawashima (and any else I don't know about)? 21:53, 26 October 2018 (EDT)
:::::::Perhaps Starfy as well. I was thinking about also bringing up Barbara as an example, but I'd say that the webcomic is just enough to justify a separate article (see: Ashley's Creepy Crew). 01:01, 27 October 2018 (EDT)
::::::::Starfy and Barbara we can keep because of their other involvements. 15:18, 27 October 2018 (EDT)
:What other involvements for Starfy, though? Beyond Smash, his only appearances are in Densetsu no Stafry (which the wiki classifies as a guest appearance, therefore it doesn't count for anything) and technically Super Princess Peach (but all that information is covered under Starfish, and it seems a lot more like this generic enemy is a nod to Starfy rather than those two literally being one and the same, therefore it doesn't count). 15:21, 27 October 2018 (EDT)
::Oof, you're right about that. The list of Mario references in video games and manga publications covers the Densetsu no Starfy series just fine, and with more images. So, yeah, we can remove Starfy, too, unless Wario counts as a crossover. Would Barbara count as a crossover, too? 15:28, 27 October 2018 (EDT)
:::Well, Densetsu no Starfy 3 was split by proposal into a separate article (although IIRC that was before guest appearances was an actual concept, it's been since grandfathered into one). So that means the game itself gets a page, but not any of the game-exclusive stuff inside. Either way, same result, Starfy gets merged away. 15:51, 27 October 2018 (EDT)
