There are three sections of the Midas area: the falls, the river, and the bank. The former two are nonstandard gameplay segments that are two halves of a "minigame" while the latter one is a small overworld place. In the Japanese version, this is pretty straightforward: Wine River Descent (ワイン川くだり) refers to the falls, Wine River (ワイン川) refers to the river, and Wine River Bank (ワイン川のほとり) refers to the bank. The English version makes a mess out of this: in-game, "Midas River course" refers to the falls (despite it also being referred to as "Midas Waterfall" in the guide), what should be the "Midas River" course is called the barrel jumping event (hyphenated "barrel-jumping event" in the remake), the bank is "Midas River", and all mentions of the falls by the...banker(?) are, instead, Midas River. Whoa. So, I wonder if it's really necessary to have these all apart. The falls and the river are two parts of the same journey, and splitting them is sort of like splitting the 2D and 3D sections of Moleville Mountain. As such, I think it's really odd for the falls to stand alone on its own while the river/barrel and bank areas share an article. I have a few ideas on how to fix it up.
