The outside music is not played by her, and should be removed.
There's simply no proof that it's her.
And there's no reason to even think that.
If I remember right, don't you defeat melody BEFORE you even go outside?

I hate to be blunt, but it's somewhat of an ignorant assumption.
Just because it's (The outside music) reminiscent of a piano, does not mean it's Melody.
