This enemy is never been in a game with mario {{Unsigned|0k T0ad}}

I'd assume it's because it's a variation of a ''Mario series'' enemy. Thwomps originate from the ''Mario series'' and while I've never played ''Link's Awakening'' in any form, I do know that it takes a lot of enemy inspiration from the ''Mario series'', so it's more than likely that this enemy is meant to be a spin-off from Thwomps themselves, despite not being from a ''Mario'' game. {{User:Tails777/sig}}
:This is far from the only case where the Zelda franchise has done this -- [[zeldawiki:Manhandla|Manhandla]] is established as a Piranha Plant variant, for one, and its only presence on this wiki is a brief reference on the Piranha Plant page. ::Manhandla just hasn't been split yet. Thwomps is Thwomps, no matter what game they are in. And the Zelda games have a whole slew of Thwomps in them, not just this, and the previous system of covering them all on the main Thwomp page was awkward.
