| There's an error. In the line "Players earn 15 points for every shot that is successful and can win the game by earning set, game, and match points by earning 60 points on each game.", players don't get 15 points. 15 is 1 point. 30 is 2 points. 40 is three points. I know this because I played Mario Tennis. I will change that to "Players earn 1 point for every shot that is successful and can win the game by earning set, game, and match points by earning 4 points on each game." I don't know if I need approval, but I'm just going to make this edit. Thanks! 99.234.204.8 11:20, November 24, 2023 (EST)

| Hello? No one fixed this error. Some explaination. A tennis match has sets. Sets can last 2 units, or 6 units. Those units are called games. A game in tennis is split up into 4 points. 15 is the first one, 30 is the second one, 40 is the third one, and the point that wins the game, the fourth one. Does anyone on the MarioWiki know their tennis points? PaperMarioGolf (talk) 09:26, January 6, 2024 (EST)

| So the person who uploaded the "Walpeach" (the creator or something) designs on instagram has since deleted them. I can't access them anymore. And the people who originally reported those desings were Source Gaming. Is Source Gaming even a reliable source? This is all very strange.

| I'll take your word for it. Still it's weird they deleted it so quickly. CastleResearch (talk) 13:34, December 2, 2023 (EST)

| == Walpeach's name ==

| |
| Is her English conceptual name actually "Walpeach?" I thought it was "Wapeach." It would at least make more sense, because Wario and Waluigi's names are derived from the Japanese word 'warui,' which literally means 'bad.' Not sure if it was a typo on the editor's part or if this is the actual name. OmegaRuby

| :I think Fumihide-san want to reflect the katakana ル. Walpeach Design Instagram.jpg. 09:55, January 8, 2024 (EST)

| ::Fumihilde indeed consistently spelled it, with Latin characters, as "Walpeach," even in response to people saying "Wapeach." "Wapeach" is more widespread thanks to busybody journalists, YouTubers, and fanartists who can't be bothered to do their homework (despite my best nerdy erm, acshually efforts at correcting them), but that spelling is wrong, plain and simply <s>and needs to be quashed out before I lose whatever loose equivalent to sanity I have left</s>. <small>It comes off as highly disrespectful to the work that went into designing her to ignore something as simple as her name.</small> Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 10:43, January 8, 2024 (EST)

| ::: Thanks. I'll go ahead and fix the instance of Wapeach I found on Waluigi's article. --JoeCool (talk) 11:48, January 9, 2024 (EST)

| Also, as far as the warui origin goes -- L and R don't have direct equivalents in Japanese, so "warui" or "walui" are technically both semi-accurate translations (which is why Waluigi is named the way he is -- it literally has the word "warui" in it). That would be where the L comes from. 73.171.104.211 11:01, January 8, 2024 (EST)
