| | I am very angry at Max2 because he replaced the entire article with a moronic snipe at Mario's mother! (I just restored the article to its previous, un-vandalized form.) ND IRISH ROCK! 15:13, 20 November 2007 (EST) |

| The artwork of Diddy Kong that this article uses is from Mario Kart Wii, and besides that, is not used for this game at all. Why is it being used here?

| :::There isn't. I checked this manual on Page 28. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 15:07, 6 January 2018 (EST)

| ::::Some of the artwork that manual and the game uses are from other games, such as Toadette's being from Mario Party 7, but there is nothing for Diddy. I don't think we should use random artwork to represent him.

| == I helped! ==
| |
| So, while browsing the Mario Party DS article, I noticed that there were TWO galleries! I obviously changed them to make sure everyone knows which gallery is which. You're welcome.
| |
| P.S. I hope this gets featured on The 'Shroom:Spotlight! User:AnimeTreehouseOfficial

| The statement "If the combined total dice roll for all four players for the turn is a multiple of 10, a Battle Minigame is triggered instead" is not correct. Speedrunners have noted that battles have happened on non-10 divisible totals, including in the World Record Speedrun for Story Mode. More research is needed on this. 170.4.50.142

| == Chess pieces? ==
| |
|
| |
| This is a stupid and trivial thing to obsess over, but this article uses a specific object comparison ("chess pieces") to refer to the sizes of the cast. It's also used in Bowser's article at one point (at least according to a Discord post I made about it in June 2023), and it's in History of Princess Peach if I'm wrong about Bowser). Yes, this question arose from a BJAODN entry using potato chips as the size reference and I was wondering "was this because the game referred to chess pieces at one point and then used 'potato chips' as inspiration?". But turns out, I'm not seeing any analogies to chess pieces in the box art, the manual, or in the game. Was this a MarioWiki invention or did Mario Party DS ever use that frame of reference in its promotional material? 18:48, September 13, 2024 (EDT)
