| I found out that Super Mario Fushigi no Janjan Land is absolutely not a Mario Party game! I edited the article, but I don't know how to remove it from the Mario Party category. | ==That template is messed up==
| |
| I think that character template is messed up, it shows Bowser not being playable in MP8 and he was. That happens with a few other characters also. Does anybody know why?Doctorseaweed

| *From Waluigi vs Wario: The only Mario Party game that ever had Bowser playable was Mario Party 4, and even then only in Beach Volley Folley. So I don't know what you are talking about.Waluigi vs Wario

| == Mario Party DS Hosts ==
| |
|
| |
| In Mario Party DS, there are no hosts, so why in the list of hosts it's written Wiggler, Toadette, Diddy Kong, Kamek and Bowser? This is not hosts.
| |
|
| |
| Do we need to change it to no hosts, because this is a mistake?

| In case you forgot, here is the order of all the Mario Party games: Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Mario Party 4, Mario Party 5, Mario Party 6, Mario Party Advance, Mario Party 7, Mario Party 8, Mario Party DS, Mario Party 9, Mario Party: Island Tour, Mario Party 10, and Mario Party: Star Rush. | :Assuming I put this together correctly, Mario Party DS is the twelfth English Mario Party and the thirteenth Japanese Mario Party. 21:38, 10 December 2017 (EST)
| |
| :EDIT I did not put that together correctly, hold on.
| |
| :Okay, fixed. Had 8 on twice and forgot Top 100. MPDS is the eleventh title in English. 21:41, 10 December 2017 (EST)
| |
|
| |
| What?! MPDS is NOT the eleventh title in English! Remember, Mario Party-e does not count! Only the consoles and the handhelds are part of the main series, and the rest are just add-ons. 21:47, 10 December 2017 (EST)
| |
| :How does Mario Party-e not count? 21:48, 10 December 2017 (EST)
| |
| ::It's not an actual game, it's just some reader device or something. Anyway you put it, it is not an official game like the console games or handheld games are. 21:57, 10 December 2017 (EST)
| |
| :::It was released by Nintendo, has the Mario Party brand, is a game... Seems legit to me. But if you want the "main" Mario Party games, that would be the numbered titles, none of the others. 21:59, 10 December 2017 (EST)
| |
| ::::How in the world do the handheld games not count? Aren't they supposed to be part of the main series as well and not add-ons? Because generally, people tend to agree that the "main" installments are the console and handheld games, and nothing more. 22:13, 10 December 2017 (EST)
| |
| :::::My point is that they are all Mario Party titles. 22:23, 10 December 2017 (EST)
| |
| ::::::Handheld games aren't considered part of the "main" series for several reasons. Firstly, none of them follow the numbered system that the console variations employ. When Mario Party Advance was the next entry, it was "Mario Party Advance", not "Mario Party 6", and like most handheld Mario Party games, it was unorthodox and didn't really advance the formula, but rather did its own thing. The only exception was Mario Party DS, and even then you can argue that that game wasn't even trying to be an eight successor like how 8 was a successor to 7, since it also sorta did its own thing by being more single-player focused with the whole collectibles and taking advantage of DS hardware. The other games Island Tour, Star Rush, and Top 100, however were also unorthodox to their console entries drastically and to each other. Finally, the Top 100 doesn't even include handheld minigames, despite the game clearly intended being a celebration of past Mario Party titles, despite the game also being a handheld installment. 14:35, 11 December 2017 (EST)

| == Mario Party-e ==
| |
|
| |
| This page feels kinda unfinished to be honest. It's as if you're not actually counting this as an actual Mario Party game, which it obviously is. You barely covered it and you don't even have it on the playable characters screen (If you don't know, the playable characters are Mario, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi and Daisy). I would do it myself if I could, but I obviously can't, so somebody needs to. Just thought I had to bring it up.82.5.216.178

| == List of boards? ==
| |
|
| |
| We should probably add a list of every board to appear in the Mario Party series and their reappearances like the Mario Kart (series) article. I have not played every Mario Party game therefore I am unable to do it myself, so this is just a suggestion. This was signed by NintendoFan08 06:35, December 11, 2022 (EST)
| |
| :As far as I'm aware, Mario Party boards don't reappear in later games on the same scope as Mario Kart courses, so it's probably not worth a list. 06:58, December 11, 2022 (EST)
| |
| :Oh yeah, I forgot that Mario Party Superstars is the only game to do that. Yours truly, Princess Toadstoo-- I mean NintendoFan08. 08:39, December 11, 2022 (EST)
