Personally, I think this page should be moved to Mario Party 1. <span class="plainlinks">[http://www.mariowiki.com/index.php/User:Smiddle http://www.mariowiki.com/images/a/ae/Smiddle_sig_conangator.gif]</span> <small>[[User talk:Smiddle|AAAA!]] [[Special:Contributions/Smiddle|&aelig;]]</small> 05:17, 2 November 2006 (EST)

The Toad picture (http://www.mariowiki.com/Image:Mptoad.gif), is it really needed? There's already 2 other Toad pictures, and it is very small.

It's game artwork, and it's different from the other two so yes. I say keep it. {{unsigned|Mario Gamer}}

my bad, happy now? - [[User: Mario Gamer|Mario Gamer]]

Pardon me, but I'm new to this wiki, and I noticed that most of the articles for Mario Part are hideously written and have a severe lack of detail. Could I rewrite them?

:Well, this is a wiki, so go ahead. {{User:Time Q/sig}} 13:55, 14 August 2008 (EDT)

==Missing info==
Why isn't there anything about Luigi's Boiler Room, Bowser's Magma Mountain or Eternal Star? {{User|Tails777}}

== Beta Elements ==

I think we should add a new article about the beta elements of this game. There are some minigames that were never added to the final version such as "Same Game", "Yoshi no Shitaawase" and Bumper Ball Mazes 1,2,and 3 were obviously supposed to be Single Player Mini-Games before the final version. Also the gameplay video before the game was released looks different than the final version. --[[User:MarioMaster2011|MarioMaster2011]] 15:59, 3 July 2011 (EDT)MarioMaster2011

== Oh My God! ==

In the Japanese version of this and Mario Party 2, Luigi and Wario say "Oh my God!" when they are disappointed. Is it notable to include this information somewhere? {{User:LeftyGreenMario/sig}} 21:04, 19 March 2012 (EDT)
:Not really {{User|Raven Effect}}

== Whack-a-Plant music reused in Super Mario Sunshine? ==

In Super Mario Sunshine, when Mario enters the underground pipes, the tune changes to a remix of the World 1-2 theme. I was recently playing Mario Party, and I've discovered that the theme heard in Super Mario Sunshine is a faster-paced version of the 1-2 remix in Mario Party heard in minigames like [[Whack-a-Plant]]. Is this notable? <font face="Eurostile" size="3">[[User:Blue Ninjakoopa|<span style="color:#00008B">BNK</span>]]</font> <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[Special:EditCount/Blue Ninjakoopa|E]]|[[User talk:Blue Ninjakoopa|T]]|[[Special:Contributions/Blue Ninjakoopa|C]]] 19:24, 21 August 2012 (EDT)

== Move to the Mambo? ==

Never heard of it, no article, no citation, no pictures, nothing about it on here except that it conveniently does not appear in the US version. Yeah, this isn't real. {{User|Magikrazy}}

Disregard that. I thought it was a game as opposed to a song. {{User|Magikrazy}}

== Images ==
Someone have the maps for Magma Mountain and Eternal Star? {{User:Tsunami/sig}}

== Typo in the game's file ==

There is a typo in the game where if more than one character wins, it will still have the singular "WINS!" underneath their names, such as this example: DK, LUIGI, PEACH WINS! [[Special:Contributions/99.195.64.148|99.195.64.148]] 22:39, 8 August 2014 (EDT)

== Translation Comparing ==

So ein Mist Is German for "Such a crap!", Verdammt is German for "Darn it". So it makes more sense to say it means "Such a crap!" then "Darn it!". [[User:Thefamman|Thefamman]] ([[User talk:Thefamman|talk]]) 15:49, 21 May 2017 (EDT)
:Used Google Translate right now and it could also mean "Blast it!" &ndash; [[User:Owencrazyboy9|Owencrazyboy9]] ([[User talk:Owencrazyboy9|talk]]) 15:56, 21 May 2017 (EDT)
::Google Translate says both. https://imgur.com/a/aIyl1 --{{User:Supermariofan67/sig}} 17:10, 21 May 2017 (EDT)
:::Google Translate's kind of unreliable, though. "Such a crap!" is more accurate. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 17:51, 21 May 2017 (EDT)

== Gloves? ==

Despite it being as common "trivia" as ever, to the point where it's basically common knowledge that everyone and their pet gassy capybara is aware of, I've never actually seen anyone take and upload images of those gloves Nintendo gave out as a result of the legal things about the game. Should we look into that? ''[[User:Camwood777|<font color="red">~Camwood777</font>]]'' 22:12, 18 August 2017 (EDT)

== Strategies for Minigames? ==
This goes for mods and admins. Is it okay if I put strategies on all the minigame pages of MP1 and MP2 (maybe the later games)? Edit this with your response.

--Yoshi 14:16, December 15, 2020 (EST)
:([[Talk:Mario_Party_2#Strategies_for_Minigames?|This is an identical response to here]]) No, we do not write our articles like strategy guides, since strategy is subjective and it changes depending on what kind of opponents you are facing, whether it's humans or varying levels of CPUs. {{User:Ray Trace/sig}} 14:56, December 15, 2020 (EST)
::Okay, makes sense. {{Unsigned|YoshiPrower542}}

== Fourth place casualties ==

Does anyone mind if I edit the Board pages and write what happens to fourth place after the game is over? If so, should it be a new section, or do I put it in an existing one? {{User:YoshiPrower542/sig}}

== Confuse super mario party ==

This article should add distinguish template to super mario party like mario bros.. --[[Special:Contributions/58.176.43.120|58.176.43.120]] 01:24, September 17, 2022 (EDT)
:Yes. --[[Special:Contributions/14.0.229.91|14.0.229.91]] 01:29, September 17, 2022 (EDT)
:Of course! --[[Special:Contributions/49.130.129.114|49.130.129.114]] 08:26, September 18, 2022 (EDT)
:Agree. --[[Special:Contributions/182.153.76.122|182.153.76.122]] 05:55, September 19, 2022 (EDT)

Stop jumping between IP addresses and pretending to be different users agreeing to this, no one is going to confuse these games on the same level as Mario Bros/Super Mario Bros so the distinguish templates are not necessary here. Frankly, I'm not even sure if the Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros pages should have these templates either. {{User:Swallow/sig}} 06:36, September 19, 2022 (EDT)

== Negative minigame coin total ==

The results of a game I just played had the last place easy CPU end the game with a -6 in place of his total minigame coin score.
This isn't impossible, since 1v3 and 2v2 losses cause a loss in coins and a few 4 player minigames feature losing coins and even getting stolen from.

However, is this the only Mario Party this can happen in? If so, it's worth a note in the Trivia section. [[Special:Contributions/67.182.171.55|67.182.171.55]] 23:58, October 9, 2024 (EDT)
