I have not played this game so I looked it up on Mariowiki.  I was looking up the places to go or whatever.  However when I looked on it I noticed it had a lack of writing.  It needs to be expanded.  Thanks to anyone who can!

This article tries to tie both the Mario Land from ''[[Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins]]'' and the Mario Land from ''[[Mario Party 2]]''. I don't get this logic. One is a location for a fat plumber's expedition through his former one and only kingdom to kill an [[Wario|even fatter doppelgänger]]. The other is a <s>dismal prison camp</s> world built by dreams, a hub which is the general location for each board. How one can assume [[:File:SML2map.gif|this]] and [[:File:Mariolandmp2.jpg|this]], spanning from two unrelated series, are the same thing is just laughable.

Sure, the locations seem to be different - but there isn't a disambiguation page for all the versions of, for instance, the Mushroom Kingdom or Donkey Kong Island, and like those examples it appears that Mario Land fits the same overall description in each appearance.

-@LinktheLefty: Mushroom Kingdom and Donkey Kong Island are usually the general locations, being the main setting of the series, usually. Their appearances can vary, but we tend to assume they're the same thing. It's kind of like [[Peach's Castle]]; the design varies, but we still think it's the same castle because of some continuity. Peach lives there, incompetent Toad guards patrol the place, and it's always treated as an important hub.
-Continuity is a key word here, I think. Mario Land, on the other hand, with only two appearances, have no connection whatsoever. I interpret Mario Land in ''Super Mario Land'' as a distinct land from Mushroom Kingdom while the one in ''Mario Party 2'' is just a theme-parkish place set in the sky.
