==Rename to {{fake link|Mar10 Day}}==
Simply put, while it is spelt Mario Day by most people, whenever Nintendo officially celebrates this day they call it Mar10 Day. The only time that I remember them spelling the day Mario Day is the first time they officially celebrated the day with the video "Celebrate Mar. 10 - Mario Day!". Every other time they spelt it they spelt it as Mar10 Day which is its most recent name, which should take priority. {{User:Doomhiker/sig}} 12:24, 9 March 2019 (EST)
:The two stylizations are used interchangeably here [https://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/detail/celebrate-mar10-day-with-sales-and-more here]. I think that Mario Day is the proper style, with Mar10 Day being mainly used for promotional material.

::I agree, Mar10 Day is simply a stylized version of the proper name, Mario Day. --{{User:Waluigi Time/sig}} 15:32, 9 March 2019 (EST)
:::I did not notice that, so I do agree with keeping the title as Mario Day. {{User:Doomhiker/sig}} 15:41, 9 March 2019 (EST)
== MAR10 Day name ==
I think this article is overdue for a rename to [[MAR10 Day]]. From what I can find, "MAR10" is the vastly more common way the name is officially written, see [https://mario.nintendo.com/events/ here], [https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/super-mario/mario-day here], [https://youtu.be/vfjmQlWRHgQ?si=daqwClVXP9YHVVKk here], [https://mario.nintendo.com/news/mar10-day-sale-save-on-select-games-featuring-mario-and-friends/ here], and [https://mario.nintendo.com/news/nintendo-announces-fun-ways-to-enjoy-mar10-day-wherever-you-are here], just to name a few. Not to mention that the logo for the event is clearly "MAR10 DAY", and the wiki already documents several events for the holiday under the MAR10 name, such as [[MAR10 Day 2017 - Mario Quiz]], [[MAR10 Day Power-Ups Fun Poll]], [[Online Quiz for MAR10 Day 2023!]], and [[Online Quiz for MAR10 Day 2024!]].--[[User:PopitTart|PopitTart]] ([[User talk:PopitTart|talk]]) 14:29, March 9, 2025 (EDT)
:Seconding this; the only instance of "Mario Day" being used interchangably with "Mar10" day, the one lined in the previous talk thread, is now a dead link; using [https://web.archive.org/web/20190320231259/https://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/detail/celebrate-mar10-day-with-sales-and-more the Wayback Machine] revealed it was dated to 2019, which at this point, is further away from the modern day than 2019 was from the very first Mar10 Day... And in the image in the article, it ''still'' uses the "Mar10" spelling over the "Mario" spelling. It's safe to say at this point that the "Mar10" spelling has supplanted the "Mario" spelling at this point. (Of course, "Mario Day" should remain as a redirect.) {{User:Camwoodstock/sig}} 14:39, March 9, 2025 (EDT)
