| That would've also explained the name change from Mario Bros. VB to Mario Clash as the VB link cable was still in a prototype phase. However because the VB wasn't successful enough the VB link cable would never would never be released. Perhaps if the Virtual Boy had been more successful the link cable would've been released and Mario Clash would've been updated.
