I think the main reason that [[The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3]] was excluded possibly due to having a rather dramatic subplot similar to [[wikipedia|Sonic SatAM]], which aired three years later. [[Super Mario Bros. Super Show]] and [[Super Mario World (TV Series)|Super Mario World]] are more aimed at younger generations.
