:Originally, I planned to under the assumption they'd have enemy stats like those in ''Bowser's Inside Story'', but it's not the case here for ''Dream Team''. Seeing as how Luigi's and the bosses' attacks deal the same amount of damage regardless of Luigi's current level, and how the Prima's guide does not even list their stats -- aside from coins, gear and items dropped -- I decided to leave them out. ::I looked at the RAM Addresses of their HP in-game, and I found that the HP of Giant Bosses are stored as a Floating Point address. Every single Giant Boss' max HP is 100.0 (aka, 100) and they usually get to their final star state at about 3.0 to 5.0, depending on the boss. As far as I know, '''GIANT BOSSES DO NOT HAVE STATS'''. So... How in the actual hell were the stats found in the first place? Excuse my language, but from what I discovered, they simply do not have stats like all other enemies do. Luigi's HP, too, is stored as a Floating Point, with its' Max HP being 100.0. If you edit the boss' HP, the bar goes down and the boss goes in the mode for its' respective HP. If it's edited to, say, 3.0, it goes into its' near-KO'd animation. You die as soon as you edit Luigi's HP to 0.0.

If there is no answer on this, I would like to suggest to leave their stats blank (with a -) but keep them on the page for the items, coins and such. The other three RPG games have an article called a "bestiary". This is the only one that breaks the consistency of it. I say we should rename this article to "Mario & Luigi: Dream Team bestiary" to make the article names much more consistent. Besides, it's much less wordy than "List of enemy stats in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team". Being precise is the key, and if we can achieve the same meaning with fewer words, then we should go for it.

They have HP and can be attacked separately if you don't kill Kamek when they're summoned. If you hit them enough they collapse for a few turns. When Luigi jumps on a Bandit (Defense 122) he deals 60 damage (30*2 stomps) and when he jumps on a Virus (Defense 230) he deals around 30, but when Luigi jumps on a Shy Guy (Defense "130"), he deals 22! :Enemy stats don't change when you go into Easy Mode or Hard Mode. For Easy Mode, I suspect that your stats are boosted and you gain additional levels - though I haven't checked that out yet. For Hard Mode, it is very likely that what changes are the attack formulas. Doing a quick comparison between Normal and Hard Mode and comparing the stats of enemies while in each mode, their stats didn't change whatsoever. == "????" AKA Antasma's health ==
I noticed that people say that "Antasma's health can be 4, or 3, or 2" and Keyblade adds a note saying "Best to leave it as is", setting it to 4. However, his TRUE HP is 20. Loading up the game and viewing his HP through looking at the RAM, his HP is 20, but whenever his attack ends, it is set to 1. This happens each time he does his attack. After he attacks, you can set his HP back to 20 or any other number that isn't >2 and he'll do his attack, and then sets the HP back to 1. This creates the illusion that he only has, at minimum, 2 HP.

Is "Faux-real" a useful distinction to make on a page entirely about gameplay data rather than the story? The X Bosses taking place in the real world are functionally real world battles and functionally have Mario and Luigi fighting in them with all of their real world abilities (and none of the Dream World ones.) I think this page should just ignore the story concept of reliving old battles through dreams, and simply say these fights are real world ones. -Five year late, but better late than never: looking at Smoldergeist's stats directly from the game (address 0x1485D174 on EU v1.1 during the Smoldergeist battle) shows that his speed is 0xE703 or 0x3E7 if we reverse the bytes, or 999. This is correct. However, looking at Wiggler's and Popple's stats: Popple (0x1485D174 still during the Wiggler battle) shows us 0x0100 or 1 while on the Wiki it says 4. There's actually a second Popple however; if you look at address 0x1485D69C, you'll find 0x7D00 or 125. The first Popple's power (0x1485D170) is 1, while the second Popple's power (0x1485D698) corresponds to what it says on Mariowiki: 0xC300 or 195. I suspect that the first Popple is a placeholder for before you actually get to fight him. His speed should be changed to 125.
-For Wiggler, it says his speed is 1, on the Wiki. However, looking at it from in-game (0x1485D408), it shows 0x4E00 or 78. Wiggler's speed is not 1. There are no enemies in this fight beyond these fights (enemy data is loaded and each enemy have 0x294 bytes between them, if that makes sense. Unloaded enemies show as a bunch of zeroes.
