This article is about two completely unconnected, unnamed helicopters that both happen to be owned by Mario. Need I say more? This article has even less of a reason to exist than Donkey Kong's cage in ''DK Junior'', an arguably more pervasive plot element that doesn't even have an article for... hopefully obvious reasons. It says something that even in the anarchic early days of MarioWiki, nobody seemed to have thought to make an article for ''Mario's helicopter''. This is really stretching the exceptions given in the [[MarioWiki:Generic_subjects|generic subject policy]]. This article covers two separate, unnamed helicopters that happened to be piloted by Mario in cutscenes, while still considering them the same helicopter with drastically different appearances (even though one is a realistic helicopter and the other has a comically large claw coming out the bottom).
