:Well, Big Guy the Stilted is also called "Big Guy" in German, so I do think it's the correct name. I don't know what "Puschel" means though. Looks like it's a pseudoword of German. Could also be a pun on "kuschel" ("cuddle"). But it certainly doesn't mean "pusher". Still, I think I've heard the word in a different context in German... what do you think, Cobold and Grandy? 16:21, 9 July 2008 (EDT)

::I just don't think "Big" would be followed by a German word, it's all English in "Big Guy". For Puschel it may also be related to "Büschel", considering they are walking in groups. - 16:25, 9 July 2008 (EDT)

I am german so i know what "Puschel" means. It means "something wich is fluffy". Kaialone
:Really? Cobold and I are German too, but I've never heard that word. So anything that is fluffy can be called "Puschel"? 07:29, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
::I think "Puschel" can be roughly translated with "tuft" (at least dict.cc says so), it is surely a somewhat colloquial term for anything that is fluffy, as Kaialone told, but I also haven't heard much about this word, though. That the first word of the name ("Big") is an English word isn't special, e.g. "Power Star" was translated with "Power-Stern", the name's first part remains English. German everyday speech has many anglicisms, y'know. --Grandy02 07:36, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
Gender
Is there any proof that Milde is a girl?

:I don't think there is, like most bosses its gender it probably unconfirmed. Yoshi876
::For reference, the SNES Nintendo Power guide calls Marching Milde a female:
<blockquote>Marching Milde: With her mile-wide smile and easygoing gait, Milde is one of the mellowest adversaries Yoshi will encounter on his journey. Hit her with an egg and she'll barely shrug. You'll have to split her personality by pounding her head. She has good reason to be laid back, for few intruders ever make it to the inner sanctum of her castle.</blockquote>

Ressemblance to Kirby
Is it actually intended to look like Kirby, or is it purely coincidental? -- 04:06, 24 October 2018 (EDT)
:As mentioned in the Playing With Super Power: Nintendo Super NES Classics eGuide, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island 16 Bits tab (7 MILDE): "The smirking Milde’s spherical pink appearance and stylish red shoes look suspiciously close to a certain other Nintendo character." Above it is artwork of Milde next to Kirby inhaling from Kirby Super Star. LinkTheLefty (talk) 18:55, 24 October 2018 (EDT)
