| :Magmaargh have more animal-like bodies while the [[Magmaw]] is a lava blob with a face. It depends on which game they appear in, but a general rule is that if it's a traditional style platformer, they will probably kill Mario instantly since they're made of laval, but in Galaxy, they burn Mario's butt and remove one wedge from his health.
