Been working on these rooms for about a week, and I'm proud to report I am finished. I did get some help from Sir Grodus (Courtyard) and Snowblind (Billards Room and Balcony) though. Cheers to those guys! But like I said, every room is done. Monty Mole 17:01, 14 August 2006 (EDT)

Seriously, this is pointless. The section is ridiculously long and poorly-written, reading like an especially useless FAQs that merely describes the room progression and the cutscenes. It's also rambling and full of information that isn't relevant to the game (most of the stuff about E Gadd's backstory) or the storyline. The plot summary below it is more than good enough to descrive the game's plot.

As you may know, Luigi's Mansion has recently got a 3DS remake that adds many new features such as an S rank, an expanded gallery, updated graphics, platinum frames, a new boss rush mode, co-op, new cutscenes, the strobulb, etc. This is why I propose that it should be spit into its own separate article. The Nintendo 3DS version section in this article is starting to run on due to the major changes in this version, and in my opinion giving the 3DS remake its own article would better sort out this information. Not only that, but other remakes/ports with much less new features such as New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World get there own article so in my opinion Luigi's Mansion 3DS should also have an article to itself.

Uh guys, there's already a proposal that dealt with this. I've also outlined my arguments in this in favor of splitting Luigi's Mansion for 3DS. 13:42, 5 November 2018 (EST)

In the official website of the first game there was a flash game where one could go visit E. Gadd's lab. The lab served as the main location where you would pick different rooms, objects and machines to enter a new section.

My only request is for all of this content to be saved and added to the wiki and into the specified articles I mentioned above, so anyone can know what the site used to be. Alfonso720 (talk) 00:22, December 16, 2020 (EST)

:Yeah, images can definitely be added to the relevant articles. We also cover official browser games, so maybe a "Luigi's Mansion (browser)" or something could also be created. 00:31, December 16, 2020 (EST)

::Thanks. I'll probably work on adding information tomorrow though. I'll also do a few changes to the Madame article to fit the information from the website. I also noticed the Poltercue article exists here, something I totally missed. It would be great if the Luigi's Mansion (website) article is created, we must include the main section of the lab and the others you can pick there. I don't know what screenshot we can use for the lab though since the one in the link above is missing some details like the door. I will probably need help on creating though, once again tomorrow. :::I think the website of Wario Land 4 was basically a game in itself too, with lots of things that separated it from the game it promoted. Content like this should definitely be covered in some form. 07:48, December 16, 2020 (EST)

::::Alright, now that I added some information to Madame Clairvoya's article, I think we could also think in the creation of Luigi's Mansion website article. My only concern with it, is what kind of main image we can use for that article since a screenshot of the lab in that link above wouldn't look good since it's still missing some details. I wish there was some way to make the lab complete again since I have all the files, but I don't know how to combine them all into the lab, not to mention the missing sprite of the door to Clairvoya's room. Also, I wanted to add the Ask Madame Clairvoya information in her article but I don't know if I should either make a new section, add it as another subsection in the heading "History" or add it all in Trivia. --Alfonso720 (talk) 01:37, December 19, 2020 (EST)

I invited my friend to try out PAL Hidden Mansion and he died a few times
Upon reloading the save file his HP wasn’t reset to 100. Is this exclusive to PAL Hidden Mansion or is this the case in every version of the game where you keep your last HP amount from the last time you saved? 14:27, August 4, 2024 (EDT)

Hallway pages
In the nominated page, RHG1951 told that he opposes Luigi's Mansion being nominated due to the fact that the "Hallways" don't have their own page(s) yet. And to be honest, I think he has a fair point. So we should add the page(s) as fast as possible. 19:40, April 14, 2025 (EDT)
:Hi, I’m actually working on that right now, should be done by tomorrow afternoon at earliest. Anyways something I’ve noticed with these Hallway pages is that titles are vague. Since there are no official names for the hallways (to my knowledge) I was wondering if it would be possible to change the names listed here to the ones listed on the Blackout page as those names are far more specific and clarify what the article is about, (as an example Hallway 1 would become 2F Area 1 Hallway) would that be alright? User:Paper Plumm 23:33, April 16, 2025 (EST)
::The randomly spawning ghosts encountered in any given hallway for one particular "area" are always of the same pool, regardless of the floor they are on or whether the blackout is occurring, hence why the ghost lists refer to them as such. For example, Area 1 Hallway always only has mice, even during the blackout, while both F3 and Basement feature Bowling Ghosts in Area 4. The only exceptions are scripted constant ones like bats and Sparks. I'd have made the page when I initially made a link to it had a viable image been previously uploaded. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 01:03, April 17, 2025 (EDT)
:::Thank you for clarifying! I’ll keep the basic names, then? User:Paper Plumm 08:26, April 17, 2025 (EST)
::::Just put in the first Hallway and I realised that all four hallways connect to the same link, would it be better to make four separate hallway articles and change the links or keep the same links for one Hallway article but make four
separate Hallway sections for the article? User:Paper Plumm 10:42, April 17, 2025
:::::Personally, I think a single Hallway article is fine with notes on the differences between different ones, since the game doesn't give any distinction (and on the map, they all have a light green color rather than an area color). Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 22:00, April 17, 2025 (EDT)
Thanks for working on them {{@|Paper Plumm]]! I didn't really know how to give a good explanation of the hallways to make the pages myself. 18:29, April 17, 2025 (EDT)
Images for Obstacles
Per 's comment. We still have to add images for the Obstacles section. I'll try to look for them, but I need help. 10:04, April 18, 2025 (EDT)
:Thank you for your help! I’d love to help once I finish making the Hallway article. A recommendation someone made when I posted on the forums for advice was if you’re struggling to just take a screencap of the obstacle from a playthrough. It’s what I did for the original hallway photo, and what I had planned to do for the others. I’d personally recommend World of Longplays as they’re good at allowing shared images as long as you properly credit them, which you have to do anyways when adding images to the wiki. Hope this helps, and I really appreciate the help, this is going to be a lot better now that I know that I’m not doing this all alone. User:Paper Plumm 12:13, April 18, 2025 (EST)
Reception page expansion
These are also by 's oppose comment. We have to expand the Reception section with Nintendo Life's review. 10:11, April 18, 2025 (EDT)
