| The name "Little Mouser" from the Yoshi's Island strategy guide has been superceded by both Squeek and Mowz. Mowz is the latest name it goes by, but it already has its own article. They can easily become one, since Mowz's appearance is only a 3D representation of Mouser/Squeek. There's not much to suggest that Mowz is instead a sub-species, and being referenced singularly is not unusual since that is apparently often the case with other species characters in the scripts of the Mario Party games. | | The name "Little Mouser" from the Yoshi's Island strategy guide has been superceded by both Squeek and Mowz. | Little Mousers appears in one of the rooms in KEEP MOVING!!!!, and unlike other Little Mousers these have a gray palette with teal ears and shoes. Could you tell me the different palette? I assume that the palette depended on the location. --83.156.220.80 02:40, 26 July 2018 (EDT) | | Little Mousers appears in one of the rooms in KEEP MOVING!!!!, and unlike other Little Mousers these have a gray palette with teal ears and shoes. | I've found a walkthrough showing where to go to find them, the walkthrough is shown to have Little Mousers. put at 15:57 to know where to go to find them, only seeing the teal ears shows that the palette was right on the spriters ressource. --83.156.220.80 02:54, 26 July 2018 (EDT)

| |
| This is another case of inconsistent localization. All of the above are "Chū-san" in the language of origin (if given a designation at all). "Nomadimouse" was localized PM64's name for Little Mouser. Like the many other one-time alternate names for them, it likely stems from the fact that Mouser has not been relevant to compare to for a long time.
| |
|
| |
| The "character" Nomadimouse is distinct in that....he has a hat and you can give a letter to him. He doesn't have an actual name, simply being referred to as "the wandering Nomadimouse," while the English guide treats "Nomadimouse" as his name. Given one of my minor goals is cleaning up the superfluous alleged "character" pages, this one also should probably be merged.
| |
|
| |
| The "character" Little Mouser <s>is never even directly called that (or anything) in the game (and he seems wholly unnamed in lang-of-origin as well)</s>. It's a purple-colored one (thus resembling SMW2 Little Mouser.jpg) who runs "Little Mouser's Shop," <s>which to me sounds like the Boo's Shop run by Igor, who obviously isn't named "Boo."</s> It seems they either localized inconsistently or they thought the "Chūchū" in the shop's JP name was Little Mousers' name (and considering it's also used for the Lovely Howz of Badges, it's not his name). <s>Again, the English guide treats this as a name based purely on the shop's name.</s> Of additional note is the purple color is used for multiple "Squeeks" (also Chū-san) in TTYD.

| *EDIT: He is indeed called that in the description for the letter given by one of the Three Beautiful Sisters. Here is the respective Japanese line. It says カラカラタウンにいる 店のしゅじんへの手手紙 (He lives in the mysterious Dry Dry Outpost. the shopkeeper's letter.), so it doesn't seem to name him.

| #Doc von Schmeltwick Per.

| ===Just merge Nomadimouse here, leave character pages alone===
| |
| #WildWario I'm okay with the Nomadimouse page being merged, but the characters are specific individuals, so I don't think they should also be merged.

| Not sure if this is any help, but since Google Translate has that thing where you can write a character and it can try to guess what it is, after some fiddling, that last character seems to be this: 紙. Blinker (talk) 13:32, August 11, 2021 (EDT)
