As I said above, currently this page treats power-ups as accumulative - as if they appear in every game past their debut, as opposed to every game having a different lineup - and ignores that the design of a power-up in their original game often differs from the design that becomes the default later on. Rather than listing Super Mushrooms and suchlike umpteen times, how about we just go with alphabetising (the "Images" column would not show every sprite, just the major design changes. Maximum of five, but I don't think any power-ups actually have that many major changes). Columns to look something like this: | As I said above, currently this page treats power-ups as accumulative - as if they appear in every game past their debut, as opposed to every game having a different lineup - and ignores that the design of a power-up in their original game often differs from the design that becomes the default later on. The moon in SMM2 functions exactly like the Lucky Star. So should the smm2 moon be added?Pikachu210 (talk) 13:01, July 8, 2020 (EDT) | The moon in SMM2 functions exactly like the Lucky Star. The term "power-up" is pretty vague. No one can agree what does and doesn't count as a power-up. The shoes don't give Mario new abilities. Rather, the shoe itself has the ability. It's more like a vehicle than a power-up. Pikachu210 (talk) | The term "power-up" is pretty vague.
