| Even though there's a Lawsuits section, the subsections are randomly ordered, which makes no sense to me. I propose that we reorder them for better organization purposes. | | Even though there's a Lawsuits section, the subsections are randomly ordered, which makes no sense to me. | == SML Controversy ==
| |
|
| |
| IDK if anybody that edits here is familiar with the YouTube channel SML (SuperMarioLogan as it was formerly known as) with characters like Jeffy and Brooklyn T Guy and all that. I know that is a fanmade series, but Nintendo was involved when they send Logan a cease and desist letter telling them to stop using their characters or else they will take legal action against him, plus they had controversy with their character Jeffy and their videos with inappropriate content got them onto Good Morning America. I want to ask if it is okay to add this controversy here?--TheGreenBeetle (talk) 14:41, October 30, 2021 (EDT)

| :This doesn't look like it has anything to do with the actual Mario franchise, so it's not something we would cover here. However, it is covered on List of Mario knockoffs acknowledged by Nintendo. 14:47, October 30, 2021 (EDT)

| == Mexican Mario lives ==
| |
|
| |
| So, I see that the "Mexican Mario" controversy is on the list, but the way it is worded makes the point sound like Mexican Mario was removed from the game, as well as the boxart. Should we state that despite the removal of the asset in the boxart that Mexican Mario stayed in the final build of the game? --Power Panpour (talk) 13:20, February 16, 2024 (EST)

| :I clarified the paragraph and said that the outfit is still available in the game. 18:44, February 16, 2024 (EST)

| == Mario Kart Tour's Lootboxes Lawsuit ==
| |
|
| |
| I don't know if this is controversy, but on May 17, 2023, a young boy assisted by his father filed a lawsuit against Nintendo for alleging one of Mario Kart Tour's previously implemented gacha mechanisms, or lootboxes, named 'Spotlight Pipes', should we count as a controversy that caused a microtransanction to recieve a refund because the suit also alleges that Nintendo intentionally made the game more difficult to progress without purchasing? -- ExoRosalina (talk) 19:31, February 27, 2024 (PST)
