| This list ''is'' the [[Duel of 100]]. I propose a merge because the article I would like to merge this with has a better introduction while the list has a better body to it. Also having two separate articles may be in violation of [[MarioWiki:Once and only once]]. If the merge happens, the list page becomes a redirect or gets deleted while the official name stays up.

The Duel of 100 article has enough information to remain a standalone article, too. I don't find it necessary to throw all that information into a larger article.

| While part of me thinks it's not a bad idea, the other half of me can argue against the fact that the list of Sammer Guys is the Duel of 100. While technically it is listing off all 100 Sammer Guys, the point of the article is to list off the Sammer Guys, which relates more to the ''enemy'' rather than the event. The Duel of 100 article is meant to give insight on the event as a whole, this list is for statistics on each individual Sammer Guy so it pertains more to Sammer Guys and Big Sammer Guys. | :::The list of Catch Cards pretty much acts as the bestiary, despite not being formatted in the same way. And there isn't really a point to splitting them based on chapters when it's far easier to just have the list with all of them. Sections within the list maybe, but not four separate articles for each chapter (we'd have to do that for every chapter in the game). When I really think about it; the list of Sammer Guys and the Duel of 100 talk about two different (yet related) subjects so I think it's fine to leave them split off. {{User:Tails777/sig}}18:30, 28 August 2016 (EDT)

| I can see why Wildgoosespeeder thinks that this article need a better introduction. Even with my better wording, it's not the best intro. But I don't see a way of putting the info from Duel of 100 without it actually being part of it (which this proposal will do if passed) or breaking the "Once and Only Once" rule. It needs its own intro if this proposal fails. Also the second picture of this article has nothing to do with this article while this article, but the Duel of 100. | I think End Boss needs his own article. People say that he doesn't because none of the other Sammer Guys do and being the last one doesn't merit his own article. And there's some logic in that. But I think otherwise. End Boss is his own type of Sammer Guys. He's the only one with a spiked club and he has the unique ability of breathing fire. We have separate articles for different types of Sammer Guys (Regular, Big and Small). So since End Boss is his own type, he should have his own article too. | :No. There is not enough info about him to have him in his own article. He doesn't have anything unique enough to do so. He only appears two times. Only one of those times we get to have a full info about him. Although, we do have [[Young Professor Elvin Gadd]] who only appears one time, but then again his [[Professor Elvin Gadd|future self]] is much more known. End Boss who is less will probably have no luck as its own article. Unless you feel really strong about End Boss becoming an article, do a proposal first (which can be done once autocomfirmed) and see what other people have to hear. I say really strong because he has no unique thing other than breathing fire which doesn't add up to much.
