If you want a real texture error, Luigi's catchlight is misaligned by about 10 pixels when his eye needs to point away from his nose. (See luigi_3.png in the texture files of [https://www.models-resource.com/wii/mariosupersluggers/model/58605/ Luigi's model]) In the case of the image of Luigi above, the catchlight is 10 pixels closer to his pupil than it should be. But I don't think that's worth showing on the wiki. {{User:DannyTheDingo/sig}} 21:17, May 16, 2024 (EDT) | If you want a real texture error, Luigi's catchlight is misaligned by about 10 pixels when his eye needs to point away from his nose. :Yeah it's not a glitch since the texture seems to be created on purpose, | :Yeah it's not a glitch since the texture seems to be created on purpose, with the offset iris. It's just bad texture job trying to replicate something the engine at the time couldn't do (the animated Illumination movie does use that lighting to a more believable effect). Mario and Luigi's eye highlights are generally interpreted as a literal part of Mario and Luigi's eye anatomy so people just assumed it was a mistake when it's (poorly) behaving more like a point of light. {{User:Mario/sig}} 12:58, May 17, 2024 (EDT) | ||
