I did a 2 player multiplayer Grand Prix, Solo Mode (no team mode), used the "Selecting the Same Character" glitch, and after completing the fourth race and selecting "Next" to go to the Grand Prix ending animation, the screen infinitely stayed black and never progressed to the Grand Prix ending animation. Pressing the Home button did nothing, and it was impossible to turn the Wii off with the power button on the Wii or the Wii remote - I had to manually unplug the Wii from the power bar it was connected too. I tried this two times. This should be added to the "Selecting the Same Character" glitch section: "Additionally, using this glitch during Solo Mode Grand Prix will cause the game to infinitely get stuck on a black screen during the transition between completing the fourth race and the Grand Prix ending, forcing the player to manually unplug their Wii from its power source." --NOBODY (talk) 19:15, 15 August 2013 (EDT)

:You can't playa Grand Prix with two players, so I have no idea what you're talking about. - 08:55, 25 April 2014 (EDT)

:: I know, I know, I'm 8 years late, whatever... I just wanted to state that what the original poster said about the "Selecting the Same Character" glitch preventing the completion of Grand Prix is actually correct, it was just poorly worded.
:: The reason why the game crashed for him was because he did the glitch with King Boo. The game is technically attempting to put a Mii head on King Boo's 3D model when in the Awards Ceremony (a side effect of said glitch). However, it lacks a bone that the game seeks in order to know the position where the Mii head should be placed. So because it's missing, the game doesn't know where to place this Mii head, and thus, it crashes.--B squo (talk) 14:01, February 28, 2022 (EST)

At hate beginning of the track, if you turn right towards the part before the lake, you can go into the off-road and wallclip, taking you to the other side. It counts the lap. There is also another method, by driving backwards at the beginning of the race and mushroom + spindrift onto the wall.

hey, there are alot of glitches that say to clip objects, example peach beach tree clip. So how do you clip a tree or wall?

You align the character's model pixel perfect with the object you are attempting to clip, and if you have the exact alignment and wheelie and mushroom, you can perform a clip. It is very difficult and often requires many attempts to do.

Tiny titan glitch
While playing a solo grand prix on coconut mall i performed a glitch that made me come in last place.
I don't remember how to specifically do it because that was about 3-4 years ago. But this is what i remember:
play as koopa troopa in the tiny titan.
go to second floor of coconut mall (the first area before you can get back down).
I drove into a corner of a escalator just right, and flipped over.
The camera angle went all wonky and since there was nothing to fall off of, i was stuck there for the rest of the race. This is very similar to another post here.
I don't know if you could use other racers and vehicles, but it's certainly worth trying!

Mii Head on duplicated Award Ceremony characters Glitch + correction on the princesses dress glitch
When you get to the Awards Ceremony after playing with duplicated non-Mii characters (via the "Choose the Same Character glitch"), all cloned characters will have Mii heads. This applies for most of the non-Mii characters.
Regarding the "Wrong Clothing" glitch, the description should be reworded: the glitch actually takes place with all duplicated characters other than Player 1 (human player 2, 3 and/or 4) (no matter their overall ranking in the VS Race / Battle). Then, not only said duplicated characters will have a Mii head on them (only if playing as Daisy), but also IF a duplicated character was using a bike, it will appear in the Awards Ceremony with a dress, rather than a bike outfit. This doesn't happen in the other way around: if a duplicated character was using a kart, then they will appear wearing a dress, as expected.
TL;DR, a better description for the "Wrong Clothing glitch" would be:
Players should do the "Selecting the Same Character" glitch, and choose either Peach, Daisy, or Rosalina. Any human player(s) other than Player 1 must choose a bike. At the victory ceremony, all human players who chose a bike (other than Player 1) will be wearing a dress, rather than a  bike outfit.  --B squo (talk) 14:01, February 28, 2022 (EST)
