This strange glitch has an unclear cause that occurs on the area with many hedges and Chain Chomps. After being hit repeatedly by the Chain Chomp, on the mini-map I have seen the computer stay in place for a few seconds, as if blocked by the hedge, but suddenly go to (presumably picked up by a Latiku) the fountain area. I have never actually stayed and seen why this occur and have been unable to recreate it in Time Trials. Help?{{unsigned|Pwnerofdooom}}

Reply: I had something similar happen when I was fooling around with an unlimited star cheat.  I pushed a computer back from another part of the track back into the hedge section, they couldn't find their way out and after a few seconds got lifted to a further area.  It might be a fail safe built in exactly for if a computer gets stuck (for certain areas at least).  Yes I cheated, but the idea is the same:  The computer players can't path find very well.  They only follow a set path and if it gets disturbed so much that they don't realize where they are, they try to go back to where they were by traveling in a straight line to it (like the "Confused CPU" glitch mentioned earlier here). I even saw one take the "shortcut" on Mushroom Bridge after doing this because it was a direct way back to where they were (the other end of it, where I first started hitting them) although they hit the wall a lot in the process. -Satan915

I have observed that in the giant cake battle stage (and also other stages, but it can be tested there well), the bounce height when using the R button while being speed-boosted sometimes is much higher, and sometimes much lower than normal.

I am not sure why that is, but I just thought I should let you know. Maybe some experts can further examine this. {{unsigned|84.147.42.156}}

== Balloon battle CPU freeze glitch ==

The glitch of an opponent freezing is not due to being hit under a bridge in Block Fort. The glitch can be performed on any battle stage and it is achieved as follows: First obtain and use a star from an item box, then get another item box with mushrooms while still having star invincibility. Then, use the mushroom to boost into a CPU before your invincibility runs out. The steal takes priority over the damage from the star. If you hit that same CPU with any non-mushroom item after doing this trick, the CPU will not lose a balloon. If this next hit happens when the CPU only has one balloon left, they will stop moving but will not lose their final balloon. They cannot be reactivated when this glitch is performed. (N. == Waluigi Glitch ==

I‘ve encountered this a lot while playing, just play Waluigi and win Ballon Battle.
When he ends the animation where sticks his arms forward, half the time he will freeze in place.
This also happens rarely in Shine Runners. I‘m not sure why this happens, but it probably has to do
with him using multiple animations during victory. Could someone please verify and add (with an image)?
Also, I haven‘t seen this happen to others, but maybe some (R.O.B.) could be affected too. {{unsigned|84.180.198.162}}
