I'm not sure about the original, but in the remake, the things in the sidescrolling segments are clearly [[Hothead]]s, not the small ones, which I can mostly tell by their size in comparison to the Bros., as well as their eye size. Thoughts? :''Superstar Saga'''s sparks are roughly the same size as Mole Mario, albeit I think slightly smaller in the original and slightly bigger in the remake. Since Mole Mario basically equates to Small Mario and the design is seemingly influenced by Watt, it's still closer to Li'l Sparky rather than Hothead. Having said that, I'm not really sure if they are supposed to be Li'l Sparkies or something else since they have some new patterns. Mister Wu [[Special:Diff/2614382|said]] that they aren't mentioned in the Japanese guide, and in the Nintendo Player's Guide, they are generically called "sparks" on page 95.
