Does anybody know when the first specific instance of the term "Kremling Krew" turned up? It appears to have first been used in the game Super Smash Bros. Melee, and later in DK: King of Swing. I've looked through the DKC, DKL, DKC2, DKC3 and DKL3 manuals, no mentioning of the name Kremling Krew, so it either originates from SSBM or one of the following:

#The DKC/DKL novellas.
#DKL2
#The Game Boy Color version of DKC.
#DK64
#Some media release or preview.

Sorry for this after a long while, but it appeared in the guild for it that I have. I think it is Nintendo Power.

:::...it kinda means what it says. :u The non-reptilian enemies like Gnawty and Zinger have their own "rulers" (Queen B., King Zing, etc.), who in turn answer to King K. Rool, making them "members-by-proxy", for lack of a better term on my part, hence their ally status.
