So, apparently this page is titled "KP Pete" instead of "King K", because the former is his "real" name. I looked up a text dump of the game, and the name "KP Pete" only appears once, in the line "The Glitz Pit no longer has any official connection to KP Pete, a.k.a. King K." :If the above section is anything to go by, it was moved to this name for an outdated reason ("Full names are more canonical than nicknames" - we haven't based our priorities and hierarchies off of any so-called "canon" for more than a decade at this point).
