*In Spear Guys' Village Found!, there is a bush near the goal roulette containing a Shy Guy. If Yoshi passes through the bush without defeating the Shy Guy first, a Bandit will swap it out for Baby Mario, whom he tries to run off with. The Shy Guy will stay on Yoshi's back until he grabs Baby Mario back from the Bandit.

::Time Turner apparently has a manual for this, but was active until June unfortunately. Don't know when he will be active again. The source you given (Doc von Schmeltwick) was from the page, not the manual. To determine if it's considered as a normal Shy Guy in English, we should check the Guide for Yoshi's Island DS. -- 04:27, 23 September 2018 (EDT)

Merge with Shy Guy
This is just a Shy Guy. There's nothing different about this enemy than a normal Shy Guy besides the particular way he behaves. In fact, when you retrieve Baby Mario from the Bandit, the Shy Guy will fall off and begin to act like a normal Shy Guy in every way. (At least, in SMW2) There's lots of enemies who have different ways of behaving but we don't differentiate them with a separate page. But what about the fact that it has a unique Japanese name? Well...does it? I believe "Itsunomanika" is being used as an adjective, literally to describe how "It's a Shy Guy, but it's one you won't notice". In the same way you might refer to the "Jumping Paratroopas" and "Flying Paratroopas" in SMW. Shadow2 (talk) 22:39, January 10, 2025 (EST)
:, it's a name. Check out the references, it's like that for every game it appears in. It's not a generic descriptor. :::Woozy Guy is also just a normal Shy Guy with a different behavior. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:00, January 11, 2025 (EST)
::::I don't think those should be their own page either, but that's a lesser example. They at least have an "ability", for lack of a better term, that normal Shy Guys do not. Itsunomanika's do not, they just sit there on Yoshi's back. Shadow2 (talk) 07:34, January 13, 2025 (EST)
:::::Their ability is to hide behind scenery, actually. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:48, January 18, 2025 (EST)
