| :To answer your questions, Goomboss's first appearance was in Paper Mario. He later appeared in Super Mario 64 DS, and many fans have speculated that the events of that game, overwriting the original Super Mario 64, means that Goomboss's first chronological appearance was Super Mario 64 DS. However, this is speculation and doesn't have a place in our articles, but rather on our forums (you should get an account if you're interested in theories and such, by the way). What the article should say is that he first appeared in Paper Mario and later in Super Mario 64 DS. For our purposes here we don't need to get into the nitty gritty details about whether or not Super Mario 64 DS did happen in place of SM64. As for the second question, Mario could not rip enemies in half in Paper Mario. The "paper" motif was simply an art style. However, in later installments of the Paper Mario series, the "paper" concept was used in interesting ways (turning sideways, etc.). 19:30, 11 November 2008 (EST)
