It seems like Flamm might be intended to be an equivalent to [[Charlieton]] from ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'', judging by their somewhat similar appearances (both having pink toned skin, black oval-shaped eyes, and wild brown facial hair) and the same Japanese name. While they’re most likely not literally the same character, it seems like they’re likely a similar case to [[Merlon]] and the other [[Shaman]] characters, who appear with different appearances and roles across the first three Paper Mario games. [[Merlumina]] is a character part of the "Merlon family" whom the wiki now considers to be the same character as Madam Merlar, owing to having somewhat similar appearances and roles and the same Japanese name.

:I do take your point, though I’d argue that they have more in common than their Japanese names, such as similar appearances and somewhat similar roles as independent merchants. {{User:Pseudo/sig}} 12:33, May 24, 2024 (EDT)

::Flimm also shares his name with [[Rowf|another]] [[Doogan|series]] of street merchants that look ''very''  different from him, so I'm inclined to believe this one actually is different. EDIT: Oh, Arend already mentioned that, lol [[User:Doc von Schmeltwick|Doc von Schmeltwick]] ([[User talk:Doc von Schmeltwick|talk]]) 12:38, May 24, 2024 (EDT)

:::Fair enough. I suppose that both Flimm and Flamm may be best seen as referencing the previous games' street merchants as a whole, rather than being direct counterparts to them. I’ll consider this matter closed and remove <nowiki>{{talk}}</nowiki>. {{User:Pseudo/sig}} 12:49, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
