Even taking its relative newness into consideration, it's pretty much exclusive to the ''SM3D'' duology and games related to them (''Captain Toad'', ''3DW'' style of ''SMM2''). The only exception I can think of is ''Aces''. Every other game since ''SM3DL'' has used the red design. Too early for this in my opinion. If the brown coloration becomes more prominent later on, we can revisit this.
