:::SMRPG's localization was indeed very rushed, inconsistent, and in some cases at the mercy of mere character limits. The fact that many were likely done from mere text with no visual reference only exacerbates that. Granted, I think this is more a flowery name for a basic subject, but it's just as much a normal fireball as the Smash Bros. move. ::::I actually think this and the "Jump" special attack are split-viable because they're in-battle moves that cost FP; in other words, "Fire Orb" (Fireball) and its variants are spells that allow Mario to shoot several fireballs at once, which is fairly rare outside of Fire Mario and Super Smash Bros. I'm somewhat neutral on this one, though, because of the game's muddied localization choices, but thought that angle was worth bringing up. For some reason this merge proposal is still a thing. I think we should just keep it the way it is. Cheese Head (talk) 21:29, September 8, 2023 (EDT)

Merge "Fire Orb" with "Fireball", or split "Jump (Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars)" from "Jump"
