In ''Super Mario Sunshine'', these three "power up" Nozzles are treated as basically equivalent to the three power up caps in ''Super Mario 64''. The main difference is that you get the first one as a freebie, these appear mutually exclusive unlike the mixable ones from ''64'', and these ones last until replaced by another. They all follow a theme per game, come from specially colored boxes that at first appear transparent, prompt a save upon being "officially" unlocked, and are treated as distinct obtainable items that grant the power up. Contrast with the Squirt Nozzle, which along with being the absolute default, is also never replaced and is treated as a core part of F.L.U.D.D.'s being.

#{{User|Mario}} Squirt.
#{{User|Mister Wu}} Agreed, they are the ''Super Mario Sunshine'' equivalent of the powerups of the other games, [https://www.nintendo.co.jp/character/mario/history/sunshine/index.html even the Japanese official Mario history site lists them  in the "POWER UP" section]
#{{User|ThePowerPlayer}} These are clearly power-ups. How are they not already split?

The Squirt Nozzle is included in that "POWER UP" section too, though... [[User:Blinker|Blinker]] ([[User talk:Blinker|talk]]) 08:04, December 10, 2023 (EST)
