:A couple years late to this, but it's a clear reference to [[wikipedia:Yama (Buddhism)|Enma]], a Buddhist deity who judges the souls of the dead. Not sure if the character's name is actually meant to be Enma without the context, but this is reference that's frequent in tons of Japanese media (the most prominent example known to Westerners would probably be Enma from ''[https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/King_Yemma Dragon Ball]'').
