Similar to Metal Mario (there is the form and the character, I think Dry Bowser is a form and a character : in New Super Mario Bros., it is shown that Bowser becomes Dry Bowser. However, in Mario Kart Wii, Bowser and Dry Bowser are two distinct characters who can be seen together. However, I'm not sure if we should split the article because of this fact, but... 15:51, 31 December 2012 (EST)

:I don't think there's enough distinctions to split these two. You can make a TPP about it if you're passionate.

::I think just like you, but maybe we could write somewhere in the article that there is a form and a character, maybe just in Trivia "Oddly enough, in NSBW Bowser becomes Dry Bowser, but in MKW, we can see that they are two distinct characters." or something like this. 16:44, 31 December 2012 (EST)

:True. Perhaps we should rename it to "Skeletal Koopa". MarioComix (talk) 23:52, 16 November 2017 (EST)

:Effectively, as the page for Dull Bones reminds us, hone (「骨」) simply means "bone" in Japanese, hence Dull Bones being called Honenoko (Bone Koopa Troopa), Bony Beetle being called Honemetto (Bone Buzzy Beetle), the Bone Piranha Plant being called Honepakkun (Bone Piranha), Bone Goomba being called Honekuribo (Bone Goomba) and well, Dry Bowser being called Hone Koopa (Bone Bowser). Since the other bone version of the enemies weren't called in Japanese with a name related to Karon I guess the relationship is more that of Dry Bones being possibly a source of inspiration, rather than being the same species.--Mister Wu (talk) 08:53, 17 November 2017 (EST)

Quote change
An idea for a good quote for the top of the page that I have: "I feel dry... How does my skeleton look" from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey. I know this is one of those instances where Bowser turns into Dry Bowser, but I still think it's more fitting than the current quote used. 20:47, July 21, 2021 (EDT)
:Support the change. 19:42, July 22, 2021 (EDT)
:I support it too. Somethingone (talk) 19:49, July 22, 2021 (EDT)
Dry Bowser might be a Dry Bones
Are you sure Dry Bowser isn't a Dry Bones because the Koopa Species become Dry Bones when thier dead. Just think about what I said. 94.9.174.199 10:36, July 13, 2024 (EDT)
