Someone requested to move the page to oil drum, and I do not think this is the right call. Let me explain why I think we should keep the name of the article. According to MarioWiki:Naming, the first international English name takes priority, which is dead-end drum. Oil drum is not a common name for this object, it comes from a game that is not from the Wrecking Crew series, but from Smash Bros. Ultimate. It would make sense for a user to search for the name from the manual instead of more recent name from Smash Bros series. I oppose. :You're misreading policy. The "first international English name" refers to instances where an English name is only available outside North America, which is not applicable here. Naming policy prioritizes in-game and more recent names, which this falls under. LinkTheLefty (talk) 13:09, January 2, 2022 (EST)
:Or alternatively, "drum (Wrecking Crew)" might work since it's from NES Remix, given that it's also the more common term in the original manual, and they have little if anything to do with oil. :After the fact, I noticed that in Super Smash Bros. Melee, the term is capitalized as "Dead-End Drum" in-game via the Eggplant Man trophy (when set to English; Japanese is less specific on how exactly to defeat it). Should it be moved again to Dead-End Drum, per source priority exception? ::Talk page proposal, maybe? Spectrogram (talk) 12:07, April 11, 2022 (EDT)
