From what I can discern from this article, here's what a door does:

*Allows passage.
*Locked doors require a key.

Thank goodness for MarioWiki. Otherwise, I would've never figured out how to leave my room. D:

Special doors, like [[Trapdoor]], [[Dorguy]], [[Thousand-Year Door]], [[Secret Door]], and even [[Door (Mario vs. Donkey Kong)|the door from Mario vs. Donkey Kong]] have their own page already. Also, any special qualities a door might have, such as being a portal for Subspace, doesn't pertain to the door itself. The doors still act like... you guessed it... a door.

I've always been fascinated by the doors in the game, and I never even knew this amazing page existed! It has pictures of all the doors in the game, which I find really cool, but the only way I'd be okay with this is by putting all the pictures and some information on another page. {{User|Epic Rosalina}}

This article is mostly these lines below.

The doors about "Subcon" are deviants, created by Magic Potions, but the doors still act like regular doors. I don't expect people to be confused once they see a door pop out, so they research this wiki to find out its purpose. Plus, these doors are linked to Magic Potions, and as I said before, special doors ''already'' get their own page, making this article more pointless.

Just look at the gallery of this page. The way the article presents all these doors as if they're significant... it's laughable. {{User:Mario/sig}} 19:42, 11 March 2014 (EDT)
